Well, White Rose members cleaned up at Hare 'n Hounds last weekend. I'm still waiting for specifics, but I know Rachel's Fred did some lovely runs, putting a big smile on her face, and Jan's Logan tried his best for Tish and Rachel in different classes.
Avril went home with a fistful of rosettes - a 13th, two 18ths and a 24th and Jules and Jette came 3rd despite Jules having a cold and a poorly leg. Mel also needed a van just to carry home the rosettes - a 3rd, a 4th, a 5th and two 17ths! Jo got four (!) 2nd places, including one with Floss, a 10th and a 15th. Tish's TJ took 3rd in agility and 2nd in Jumping. Brenda's Bryn got a 2nd, 4th, 7th and some clears, and together with Wendy's Geordie, won the costume section of the Fancy Dress Pairs - they were 'The Lost Samurai' Canin-ja warriors - lol!
Well done to everybody!
White Rose Agility
White Rose Agility is a competition agility club based in Halifax, West Yorkshire in England. There are normally about 20 members competing with dogs of all standards from Grade 1 to Grade 7 and at all heights: Small, Medium and Large.
White Rose Agility trains on Wednesday evenings only, and takes only handlers and dogs that are already competing in Kennel Club or equivalent standard shows. Members attend shows most weekends of the year - especially in the summer - and judge or ring party at many of them. As a club we believe firmly in having fun, and in putting something back into the sport that we all enjoy so much.
Currently there are no vacancies. Training is to KC regulations, eg up-contacts are trained as well as down-contacts.
