White Rose Agility

White Rose Agility is a competition agility club based in Halifax, West Yorkshire in England. There are normally about 20 members competing with dogs of all standards from Grade 1 to Grade 7 and at all heights: Small, Medium and Large.

White Rose Agility trains on Wednesday evenings only, and takes only handlers and dogs that are already competing in Kennel Club or equivalent standard shows. Members attend shows most weekends of the year - especially in the summer - and judge or ring party at many of them. As a club we believe firmly in having fun, and in putting something back into the sport that we all enjoy so much.

Currently there are no vacancies. Training is to KC regulations, eg up-contacts are trained as well as down-contacts.

First session ends at 8.45pm. The second session starts at 8.45pm and ends at 9.45pm, so that those who had to leave early before should now be able to stay and help put the equipment away. Price is £3.00 for the first dog, and £1.50 for the second dog belonging to and handled by the same person. Please let us know asap how many dogs you plan to train so that we can organise the two sessions so that they have fairly even numbers. If you know of anyone already competing who would like to join the group, please let Mike, Jan or Brenda know as we have one or two vacancies at present.05/01/07
