White Rose Agility

White Rose Agility is a competition agility club based in Halifax, West Yorkshire in England. There are normally about 20 members competing with dogs of all standards from Grade 1 to Grade 7 and at all heights: Small, Medium and Large.

White Rose Agility trains on Wednesday evenings only, and takes only handlers and dogs that are already competing in Kennel Club or equivalent standard shows. Members attend shows most weekends of the year - especially in the summer - and judge or ring party at many of them. As a club we believe firmly in having fun, and in putting something back into the sport that we all enjoy so much.

Currently there are no vacancies. Training is to KC regulations, eg up-contacts are trained as well as down-contacts.

White Rose Agility Results This Easter Weekend
Well what a weekend for results! All that winter training certainly paid off.
So, here goes-
Dog Vegas Easter Show
Mike and Peggity qualified for the Dog Vegas Final by coming 4th in the Large 3 to 5 Agility Qualifier. I know Mike got other places as well with his dogs, but can't remember them, so hopefully he will send them to me and I can update this post.
Wendy and Kyle also qualified for the Dog Vegas Final by coming 5th in the Large 3 to 5 Agility Qualifier. Kyle was also 4th in the Large Grade 5 Jumping.
Jan and Mollie move up to Grade 3, courtesy of Mollie's win in Large Grade 2 Agility on Saturday, and she also got a second in in the Large Grade 2 Agility on Monday. NB Jan, this means the Rusty moves up too, you know!
Liz and Percy - well, what can I say? 3rd on Friday in the 3/4/5 Medium Jumping; 1st on Saturday in the Grade 4 Jumping; then a further 1st on Sunday in the Medium Grade 4 Agility and 1st in the Medium 3/4 Jumping!
Lisa and baby Kai were 4th in Grade 3 Agility (twice!), and 10th in Grade 3 Jumping, while Lisa and Sabre came 2nd in Grade 5 to 7 Jumping and 5th in garde 5 Agility. Husband Tony's Rogue did some excellent Clear Rounds, not knocking any poles down even when he added in an extra 6 hurdles to the course....
Kirsty and Maisie got 10th in Grade 1 Jumping on Friday; 4th in Grade 1 Agility on Saturday; plus two other clear rounds just outside the placings.
Colette and Mia were 4th in Small Agility on Monday.
Brenda and Bryn got a Clear Round in Large 3 to 5 Jumping; and with Amber she got a Clear Round in Medium 6/7 jumping (but rosettes only went to 1st place.....)
While at Delinquent Dogz, Kylie and Toohey came 1st in the 1 to 7 Agility, and 2nd in the 1 to 7 Jumping; and Hollie came 1st in the joint Veterans/Capability Jumping Class on Sunday, and 1st in both the Jumping and Agility on Monday.
Helen and Jock went Clear in their Jumping Class on Sunday, while Avril and baby Jack got Clear Rounds in Agility and Jumping, and Rachel and Amos managed to do his rounds off lead and without the sausage incentive.

Dianne flew the flag at Hare and Houndz by coming 2nd in the Grade 7 Agility and another 2nd in Grade 7 Jumping with Drie.
Wow!!! What a lot of Stars!! Loads of cakes this week at training I think, so the diet is on hold again.....
